“Joe’s fitness classes are dynamic, challenging, and fun. What’s great is Joe always provides modifications and encourages everyone to work within their fitness level.”

“Joe has been an enormous help in my return to a regular fitness program. He really listened to my concerns and goals and helped me to develop a routine that I enjoy with enough variation that I’m never bored. With several previous injuries I was very skeptical, but he really knows what he’s doing.”

“One of my favorite things about Joe’s workouts is the functionality of the movement he has in mind. He works hard to help strengthen muscles, improve agility, reflex reactions, and flexibility needed in day to day life.”

“Joe Hayes is one of the most pleasant people I know. He has a lightness in his personality and while caring, he is focused on his work. He is very thorough and confident in his teaching but will never make you do anything physically that would harm you or he doesn’t do himself. He has been a great addition to the YMCA and a reason why I enjoy participating. He will leave a hole in the staff that will be difficult to fill. I would recommend him for work and would hire him instantly.”

“I have known Joe Hayes through our Veterinary business for many years.  My
staff and I always enjoyed Joe for his quick smile and very nice demeanor.
For the past year and a half Joe has been my fitness class instructor at
our local YMCA.  This class meets two mornings a week at 5:30 a.m. Even
at this early hour Joe is not only prepared for class but is ready with a
cheerful greeting to all who walk in the door.  We never know what he has
planned for us but rest assured it will be creative, fun awesome workout!
Our class is made up of all ages and abilities.  Joe does an amazing job of
making everyone feel comfortable in class.  He takes the time to walk
around the room to help individuals modify the activity to equal their own
abilities, or to correct their form to avoid injury.   It is clear Joe
plans each class to co inside  with past classes with the goal to get a
whole body benefit.  He does a wonderful job of explaining each exercise an
what muscle group it is helping.  It is clear he loves helping people live
as healthy of a life as possible.  Many times I have seen him stay after
class to help someone with questions regarding their own physical issues.”

“Joe is a personable, out-going, and knowledgeable trainer. Joe made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped into our first class at the Boonville YMCA and we are going to miss his classes! Joe always remembered our names and small details which built trust and our motivation to keep showing up at 5:30AM. Joe’s fitness classes are dynamic, challenging, and fun. What’s great is Joe always provides modifications and encourages everyone to work within their fitness level. We also had the opportunity to work with Joe as our personal trainer. Joe sat down with us to discuss our goals, worked through a few sequences of exercises, and provided us with great programming through the fitness app he uses called Seconds. He was very flexible, accommodating, and thoughtful in his approach to his personal training. We highly recommend Joe as a personal trainer and fitness instructor!”
